Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Kristina “Morgan” Rose, is a second-generation sorority girl and a former Daughters of the American Revolution Debutante.  Her earliest memory was of her parents’ internationally famous Kentucky Derby Party.  From those early days, under the beverage tent, she recognized the power and importance of a well-thrown party.

Morgan attended the American University on a National Merit Scholarship.   She pledged Phi Mu Fraternity for Women her sophomore year and became legendary as the member most often referred to discipline due to her “escapades.” Morgan served as the Panhellenic Scholarship Chair and Homecoming Float Chair.

After graduating with a BA in Justice, and a J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, Morgan and her husband, Joe Rose, also an attorney, moved to Tampa, Florida.  While in Florida, Morgan served as Associate Counsel for America’s fourth largest private prison provider.  In that capacity she handled high-profile litigation and media relations strategy incident to litigation and security matters.

In November 2001, Morgan and her husband returned to Washington, DC where she spent many weekends planning and cohosting parties with Brooksie.  In 2008, Morgan's husband accepted a federal judgeship, and their family relocated to Orlando, Florida.  Morgan's day job is with the Department of Veterans' Affairs, but her evenings and weekends are spent planning fabulous parties for her two sons and urban tribe.

In December of 2001, Morgan and Brooksie founded the Society of Recovering Sorority Girls – AKA – Rho Sigma Gamma.  For eight years, their party planning expertise has been utilized by numerous individuals, and together they have co-hosted an average of ten parties a year.  For the past several years, they have distributed a home entertaining column to several print publications and maintained a website sharing their unique philosophy.  In the fall of 2004 they expanded their entertainment lifestyle offerings to include travel pieces, party planning workshops and official “Rho Sigma Gamma” t-shirts.

The Society of Recovering Sorority Girls is an elite organization devoted to a life less ordinary.  Its founders, Kristina "Morgan" Rose and Deandra "Brooksie" Brooks firmly believe in applying many of the principles of collegiate Greek life to improve the leisure activities of young professionals everywhere.
